CPR, First Aid and AED Training Emergency First Response Emergency First Response is PADI's brand new CPR and First Aid course. This replaces the old Medic First Aid course. You will receive training in CPR and emergency medical care, invaluable training that every person should know. An AED introduction is optional. This non-diving course is available for everyone, young and old, from all walks of life. The course is split into two parts - take either or both Primary Care (CPR)  Secondary Care (First Aid) The Emergency First Response course: Follows protocols from the Basic Life Support (BLS) Working Group of the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR).  Satisfies CAL-OSHA (Occupational Health and Safety Administration) CPR requirements   Meets CPR requirements for participants seeking certification through the American Council on Exercise.
